Small Plastic Gears Small Nylon POM Pinion Gear

This product is a small plastic gear made of Nylon POM material. It is widely used in various applications such as motors, electric cars, motorcycles, machinery, marine equipment, toys, agricultural machinery, cars, and domestic appliances. The gear has a hardened tooth surface, and its position is external. It is manufactured using the cut gear method and has a bevel wheel toothed portion shape. The material used for manufacturing is POM/Delrin.

POM (Polyformaldehyde) is an engineering plastic known for its non-side-chain structure, high density, high crystallinity, and linear polymer characteristics. It is often referred to as “Plastic Steel” due to its excellent properties, including wear-resistance, high hardness, chemical stability, dimensional stability, and good rigidity. POM has a wide range of applications in various industries such as automobiles, electronics, commodities, pipeline and fittings, and precision instruments. It can be used as a substitute for bronze, zinc, tin, and other metals.

POM-H is a copolymer of POM and ethylene oxide. It offers better performance in terms of high crystallinity, mechanical strength, and rigidity compared to POM-C. On the other hand, POM-C has advantages in terms of low melting point, temperature stability, flow characteristics, and machining capability.

POM-H+PTFE is a material made from Delrin POM Resin blended with Teflon fiber. It has a low coefficient of friction, excellent lubrication properties, wear-resistance, and non-creepage resistance.
